WHY MARINE ALUMINUM?<\/strong>
\nLIGHTWEIGHT<\/strong>
\nWhether powered by paddle, motor or wind, aluminum\u2019s light
\nweight means more GO with less PUSH. Canoes are easy to
\ncarry and handle better on car tops, towing, launching and
\nrecovery. A wide hull design, with added foam side sponsons,
\nmakes the Sportspal one of the most stable canoes on the
\nwater for the whole family.
\nDURABLE<\/strong>
\nHigh tensile strengths and stiffness means excellent hull
\nintegrity, long lasting durability, and high strength-to-weight
\nratio.
\nIMPACT RESISTANCE<\/strong>
\nElasticity of the metal due to it\u2019s 2.5% magnesium content
\nreduces chance of puncturing. Underwater objects frequently
\nwill only dent rather than rupture the hull.
\nALUMINUM<\/strong>
\n5052 marine aluminum will not embrittle, delaminate, peel,
\nwaterlog, check, rot, shrink or swell. It assures uniform
\nthickness of hull sections. Unlike most metal canoes, it\u2019s a
\nquiet one too! It is completely lined with foam that effectively
